Hi - My name is Anna Deligio and I will be moving to Salem from Colorado with my partner this August because she got a faculty position at Chemeketa CC. I am a Labor Doula and Lamaze Childbirth Educator (I take the cert exam in October) and would love to join your group and learn more about the birth community in Salem. From what I've seen online, it looks like there is a wonderful community of birth workers in the Willamette Valley and I'm excited to meet them. We will be visiting Salem July 5-12 and I have some availability if anyone in the group wants to connect for coffee and tell me a little about doing birthwork in Salem. Otherwise we move in mid-August and I'll be eager to get started once we land. Please let me know what the process is to be considered as a part of your group and if anyone is interested in having a coffee and introducing me to birth work in the area, either in July or after we move in August.
